A Quick Salute to Padma Lakshmi

This is Padma Lakshmi, though the photo does not do her justice. She is a succesful model, as well as the hostess of Bravo Tv's popular show, "Top Chef."

On top of this, Padma is a trooper. You can't really see it in the photo, but on her right arm, she has a large scar. This is from falling 40 feet in her car off of a highway, on her way back from a Hindu temple in Malibu. She shattered her right arm and fractured her right hip. They had to use the jaws of life to open her car. She was fourteen at the time of the accident.

So Padma, I salute you for beating the odds. If you were a president, you would be Baberham Licoln.
